Following on from our most productive trip to the largest-wine-show-in-the-world in March, various new and exciting things are beginning to arrive.
One of the first is this Corbieres Cuvee Pierre Mialhe (don’t try to pronounce it) from our friends at Chateau du Vieux Parc in Conilhac. With a smoothness more normally associated with new world reds but a savoury character that can only ever really be French, Guillaume and co. have packaged this vinous delight in a majorly heavy bottle. And we like heavy bottles.
Could this even be perfect red wine?
In stock and raring to go and at a price that might surprise.
Before commencing paella duties I used the pan as a prop. In case you were wondering.
